Here's what I did. Logged in, went to profile & then notifications & preferences. Then I unchecked email & platform. Hopefully it'll work.

This needs to be written in a way that directs 'the reader' to a better understanding of what "Carbon" is in the context of an internet webpage!  Many people may be forgiven for thinking what on earth is the writer talking about?
